My Saint Valentine’s Coffee Moments

Saint Valentine’s Day is all about moments more than chocolate and roses.  It is really important that the couples spend romantic time together on that day.

My ideal romantic day would be to have a morning coffee with pancakes, to be ready to go out for a walk. I also love wandering at the National Botanic Garden in Glasnevin or the Wicklow Gardens. These two are perfect for a picnic.

Once I got back home, I love seeing my husband to prepare a Romantic dinner for me.  He always prepare for me focaccia or pane arabo. Then once dinner is consumed it is again Coffee time.

Why I do love coffee so much? Because it shines in my life like a rising sun on a grey morning.  It is warm and vibrant that glisten as brightly as its name – morning coffee or taken from the italian “inizio” meaning the start or the beginning.  Coffee gives me time to wake up at my own pace, prolonging the enjoyment of starting my day. That is the magic of a large or espresso cup.

I love it sweetened with a hint of milk whose smoothness accentuates the coffee flavour, whilst maintaining its roasted character that gracefully brings my morning coffee or my other coffee moments to life.

What’s more? My coffee moments are getting special thanks to my new cups made for great coffee mornings or espresso coffees. My new collection is getting a new vibrant cup designed to match the radiant colour of Love with the meaning of taking coffee break.  I always take my time, I wait until I am completely relaxed and then make my self a forming latte macchiato for breakfast. Then a strong & flavoured espresso for lunch. After all, I am Italian.

Coffee accompanied with dessert
Coffee is perfect when served with Italian desserts, because they are not designed to be difficult, they are all about childish pleasures like tasting flavoured biscuits, biting your spoon into fresh strawberries cake. So, if you want to add extra pleasure to your coffee moments here other Saint Valentine’s ideas : apple almond and chocolate chip or mini cakes , which I am sure you will love too.

I’ve always been better with images than words. Very often I take pictures even when I’m having a cup of coffee. I like to capture these moments because I want to keep a record of these little moments and what I think about it on that time.  These small rituals are infact so important to me because they give me a moment to breathe and catch up with myself.

So, all I’m doing here really is sharing some images of my favourite coffee moments. The only value I can offer are some images which you surely will like. There’s probably a reason for the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”…
